Take up India Initiative

Take up India Initiative is a social endeavour intended to improve the quality of life of people. Improving people's physical, social and economic environment is exactly what we strive for. Models and approaches of interventions proven successful in the country are highlighted and introduced to the needy target groups. 'Take up India' does away with the paternalistic blue print approach to interventions. The intervention programmes are strategised in such a way that there is a high degree of fit between the programme design, beneficiary needs and the capacity of the assisting agency. The organisation will take up issues and challenges of social relevance from time to time. Rain water harvesting is the current focus of interest.
